On 16 July, the ELEVATE project will host a special online event dedicated to the practical development of transcultural competence in teams. The event is organised by the project’s Spanish partner, intercultures España & LATAM, and will be facilitated by Anna Zelno, CEO of intercultures España & LATAM, intercultural trainer with more than 20 years of experience, and one of the co-authors of the ELEVATE methodology.
After months of research, co-creation and piloting across Europe, ELEVATE is now entering an exciting stage: sharing its methodology with a broader international audience. Most project partners have already piloted the approach in their countries, and the feedback has been marked by enthusiasm, curiosity and strong appreciation for its practical, team-centred design.
At the heart of ELEVATE is a clear question: how can diverse teams move beyond awareness and translate transcultural competence into everyday collaboration?
The methodology offers a four-step pathway:
- Recognize – exploring the uniqueness of each team member, the diversity of perspectives within the team, and the visible and invisible patterns that influence collaboration.
- Connect – identifying shared values, common needs and areas of common ground that help teams build trust across differences.
- Elevate – transforming diversity into concrete collaboration practices, team rituals and behaviours that strengthen inclusion, creativity and performance.
- Implement with Impact – creating a follow-up system that helps teams sustain new practices and generate impact beyond the training room.
Participants registered for the event will also receive early access to the ELEVATE WebApp, where they can explore selected resources and test the learning journey before the session.
This special event marks an important step in opening the ELEVATE methodology to a wider community of professionals, facilitators, educators and organisations committed to building more conscious, inclusive and effective teams.
